The North Coast 500 (NC500) is a beautiful route that offers some of the best scenery and food options in Scotland. Here are some recommendations on where to eat along the NC500:
Kylesku Hotel - located in Sutherland, this hotel offers fresh seafood dishes, including scallops, oysters, and crab.
The Seafood Shack - situated in Ullapool, this mobile food truck is known for its fresh and delicious seafood dishes, including Cullen skink soup, fish and chips, and seafood chowder.
The Storehouse - located in Foulis Ferry, this restaurant offers a range of locally sourced dishes, including seafood, meat, and vegetarian options.
The Ceilidh Place - situated in Ullapool, this restaurant offers a range of dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, including seafood, meat, and vegetarian options.
Inver Lodge Hotel - located in Sutherland, this hotel offers a fine dining experience with a menu featuring locally sourced game, seafood, and vegetables.

Annies Bakery - also well renowned for her amazing bakes . In Wick they bake a variety of breads, rolls, savouries including sausage rolls, pies and pastries, cakes, tray bakes, desserts as well as a breakfast and lunch menu. Available to sit in or take away we make soup, sandwiches, salads, Fisherman's Lunch, Baked Potatoes, kids' lunch boxes served with hot and cold drinks.
Shieldag bar and coastal kitchen - our personal favourite with fresh seafood and stonebaked pizza and a view to die for
