Day 1: Alness to Inverness (Approx. 45 miles)

  • Morning: Pick up your campervan in Alness and begin your journey by driving to Inverness.

  • Afternoon: Explore Inverness, visit Inverness Castle, and stroll along the banks of the River Ness.

  • Campsite: Stay at the Culloden Moor Caravan Park just outside Inverness for your first night.

Day 2: Inverness to Fort William (Approx. 66 miles)

  • Morning: Drive south to Fort William, enjoying stunning views of Loch Ness along the way.

  • Afternoon: Explore Fort William, visit Ben Nevis Distillery, and take a leisurely walk along the Caledonian Canal.

  • Campsite: Stay at Glen Nevis Caravan & Camping Park, nestled at the foot of Ben Nevis.

Day 3: Fort William to Oban (Approx. 44 miles)

  • Morning: Head west to Oban, known for its seafood and beautiful harbor.

  • Afternoon: Explore Oban, visit McCaig's Tower, and enjoy fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants.

  • Campsite: Stay at Oban Caravan and Camping Park, ideally located close to town.

Day 4: Oban to Campbeltown (Approx. 90 miles)

  • Morning: Embark on a scenic drive to Campbeltown on the Kintyre Peninsula.

  • Afternoon: Explore Campbeltown's historic sites, including Campbeltown Cross and Springbank Distillery.

  • Campsite: Stay at Machrihanish Holiday Park, offering breathtaking sea views.

Day 5: Campbeltown to Southend (Approx. 30 miles)

  • Morning: Drive along the picturesque Kintyre 66 route, taking in the stunning coastal scenery.

  • Afternoon: Relax at one of the beautiful beaches near Southend or explore the Mull of Kintyre.

  • Campsite: Stay at Dunaverty Caravan Park in Southend.

Day 6: Southend to Tarbert (Approx. 30 miles)

  • Morning: Continue your journey along the Kintyre 66, passing through charming villages.

  • Afternoon: Explore Tarbert, visit the Tarbert Castle, and enjoy a seafood dinner.

  • Campsite: Stay at the Tarbert Holiday Park, offering tranquil surroundings.

Day 7: Tarbert to Alness (Approx. 110 miles)

  • Morning: Begin your journey back to Alness, taking in any sights you missed along the way.

  • Afternoon: Return your campervan in Alness, and if time allows, explore the local area.

  • Campsite: You can choose to stay at a campsite near Alness for your last night or start your journey back home.
